Kala Fundraising for Kerala flood victims - 15 August 2018

Kerala Arts and Literary Association(KALA), a charity registered in the UK, is raising vital funds required to help the affected people with relief supplies and rehabilitation. 100% of the funds raised will be donated directly to Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund which provides immediate relief to families and individuals distressed by the calamity.

Kala 22nd Annual day - 27 October 2018

Kerala Arts and Literary Association (KALA) has its 22nd Annual Day celebrations on Saturday 27th October 2018, 2.30 pm till 10.30pm

Venue: Berkhamsted School, Kings Road, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire- HP4 3BG

Chief Guest and Recipient of Kala Puraskaram 2018: Prof V Madhusoodanan Nair - a poet who unfettered Malayalam poetry from the limits of letters and broke it into the world of sounds, Professor Madhusoodanan Nair is presently the foremost oral poet in Kerala.

"It is the eminence that prompted KALA to award him Kala Puraskaram 2018 for pushing the frontiers of Malayalam poetry"

As a tribute to the Kala Puraskaram winner, the in-house talent in KALA will present a selection of the poet's work transformed into music and dance. 

The magic of the annual day continues in the night with musical journey guided by the Karmic Version, the UK based Indian soft rock band.
