Mr Sreeram Pillai

Sreeram works in the payments industry as an IT Director for a Fintech company. He joined KALA in 2014 and is part of the Executive Committee since 2019.

In his current role as Arts Secretary, his main goal is to give opportunities to as many members as possible, in the different arts events that KALA organises.

During 2020 lockdown, he worked with the Executive Committee and KALA members to accelerate KALA’s Digital initiatives by launching KALA Café, a fortnightly online event, providing ample opportunities for KALA members to display their artistic talents as well as encouraging talented upcoming artists from Kerala.

I am a Barrister (Middle Temple) and Notary Public by accident and a husband and father by choice. My passions include Music, Literature, Movies, Food and History. I have been involved with Kala close to five years and consider it my extended joint family in England.

I am Manoj Nambiar and have been associated with KALA for the past 13 years or so.

I am currently working as an IT Consultant in London and live in High Wycombe with my wife Roshini and two sons (Madhav & Keshav). We are originally from Kannur, Kerala.

Prior to being the Convenor, I served as Membership and Web Administrator within KALA.

Ajay Chandran is Regional Head of Sales for a global IT organisation. He lives in Reading with his wife Ashaletha Kartha and their 2 children, Neharika and Neelmadhav. Ajay has a keen interest in poetry, music and theatre.

I am Dr. Hema Santhosh.Graduated from Govt Medical College Calicut , I have been working as a GP in Surrey . I bring creativity to my profession in my additional role as an aesthetic doctor .Dancing is one of my main side interests closely followed by gardening both of which help fitness and encourage creativity. I live in East Grinstead with my husband . We have 2 children both of whom have flown the nest .

I joined the Exective Committee to fulfil my ambition of reconnecting to my cultural roots and Kala gives me the perfect platform to do this.

I have been a Kala member from 2006 and joined the executive committee for a second term in March last year as the Nadumuttam co-ordinator, the role I have been holding for the last 10 years.

I was in the Excom as a member between 2012 and 2015. During that period, I was actively involved in various Kala activities.

I was very lucky to be part of Kala Natakavedhi for several years as the production and stage manager when the group performed not only for the Kala functions but also for charity events in East London and Reading ‎

She is keen to instil love of Malayalam language in the younger generation of KALA, was part of KALA pallikutam as a Malayalam teacher.
